Mitch Lucker Biography

Just recently I had a assignment in my English class. the same class that assigned me to do this blog in the first place, had me write a biography about someone I like who was either died or alive. I was given this assignment on the 3rd and I was thinking about Mitch it being a few days after the 2 year anniversary of him dying and I felt I had to. Hope you guys like it .

 

Early life

Mitch was born in Riverside, California on October 20^th 1984. He grew up in Riverside with his parents and his siblings. Mitch always had a love for music. His brother had a small garage band and Mitch watched in amazement, he joined the band as lead vocalist with his friend Chris Garza they started Suicide Silence in 2002.They rose to fame quickly.

Adult Life

Mitch fell in love and married Jolie Carmadela on May 8^th 2010. The wedding was beautiful with all his family and band mates attending. His daughter Kendal Isis Lucker was born on June 30^th 2007.

Mitch had an extensive and large collection of tattoos on his body covering his arms, torso, neck/throat, hands, fingers and even his face. The tattoo Mitch had on his face was one of the last ones he ever got done.

The tattoo was the Japanese kanji symbol for the word "strength”. Lucker’s signature black bars that he has on each of his fingers were cover-up tattoos. The original finger tattoos he had across his fingers was "FORXEVER". Lucker stated that he witnessed too many people bearing this exact tattoo, as a result he had the black bars tattooed over each letter.

Inspiration and fame

Mitch was inspired by Korn, Deathtones,Slayer,Seputura. With his love for music he always had a smile on his face he always wanted to touch everyone with his music. Lucker was the lead vocalist of Suicide Silence. He did low growls, groans and sang a little. His voice was strong and powerful with a rumble almost like thunder. There will never be a voice like his. Mitch was know for the Lucker Stomp that he would do at his concerts. He could kick his leg almost above his head and slam it to the floor of the stage.

Mitch helped people, he always wanted to make others fell good with just his music. Suicide Silence created music that people would just go crazy to and have fun. Suicide Silence is a death core metal band. There music makes you forget the world around you and you can just have fun.

He touched so many people with his smile his laugh and his music. There will never be another like him.  His daughter will hopefully get into music and make her father proud.

Death

Mitch Lucker died on November 1^st 2012 at 6:17 on a Thursday he was only 28 years old. He died in Huntington Beach, California. He died in a motorcycle accident. He was intoxicated and crashed into a light post at and was taken to UCI Medical Center in Orange County and was pronounced dead

Suicide Silence is still touring. After Mitch died they got another vocalist and kept going with heavy hearts they still play in his honor.  

 

I choose to write about Mitch because he was an inspiration to me and so many others. He did so much in so little time. He left a legacy behind with his daughter and his music that will carry his voice forever. What I like most about Mitch Lucker is that he had such a passion for his music and his fans. He wanted to touch everyone and help other who couldn’t help another way, he knew that music saves lives and can make a difference.
